BASS STRINGS: Optima

These Strings are actually 24 karat gold plated for longer lasting, tarnish free playing. Optima (formally known like Maxima) strings were originally made in Germany in small quantities to satisfy the most discriminating players and major artists worldwide. As a result, they have always in short supply and hard to find. They have not been made for some time, but now Optima Strings has started production again.

With gold being a non-corrosive material, the strings' properties are greatly enhanced:

Greatly extended life - The plating protects the string core meaning the risk breakage is significantly compared to regular brands.
Excellent playability - As Gold is a soft but durable material, the sensation experienced by your fingertips when playing is unlike any other. String bending is not impared and actually feels softer to the touch.
Brighter tones for longer - You will instantly recognise a brighter sound when playing, but the real joy of using Optima Strings will become apparent when you pick up the guitar after several hours of play and you find that the strings still sound bright and feel new, unlike regular brands that become lifeless and dull within a couple of plays. Also, as Gold is a non-corrosive material, you can leave you guitar strung inactive for long periods of time and it will still sound bright.
Perfect Intonation
Excellent sustain

Optima strings have wonderful , super bright sound and long lasting tone. It's hard to find them, and they are a bit expensive, but they are worth every penny...
