AMPS: Ampeg Bass Combo Amplifier

Ampeg BA600210 Bass Combo Amplifier (600 W, 2x10 in)

Whoooa! What a toy! I played it 6 hours straight!
Two channels, the vintage B-15 channel and a more modern tone, you get access to both with the simple click of switch.
Not so heavy, portable (well...), best sound quality. I don't have prejudices about beginner-pro subject, so I can't tell: it's better for this group, or the other one....You can even play on the wardrobe, as long as you enjoy it...

AMPS: Hartke VX3500 Bass Combo Amplifier

It 's not the most beautiful amp you've seen, for sure. But it does the job more than good.

I've played on it 3 times, and it's hypnotic. Take my word on that.
Huge range of variety in tones. Very effective EQ and can also be turned off . The choice between solid state and tubes, and the ability to mix them gives you the exact tone you want. You can fine tune it anyway you like.

Powerful, but also heavy :) But the best part is the price - cheap, when you compare the price with quality.

Features:

-3500 amplifier section with 350 watts of classic Hartke power at 4 ohms. 240 at 8 ohms
-adjustable compression, balanced XLR Out, Total Harmonic Distortion: Less Than 1% At Rated Power, Signal-To-Noise: Approx. 78 dB
- effects Send & Return
-bipolar Design, Passive/Active Input Jack

Bye!
